I was personally involved in a private off-market transaction where a home purchased for $3.5 million over a decade ago sold for just over $13 million—with no renovations. These are not anomalies; they reflect a consistent, upward trajectory in value.

 

Ocean Ridge & Hypoluxo Island: Hidden Gems on the Rise

 

On a slightly smaller but equally compelling scale, Ocean Ridge and Hypoluxo Island have quietly emerged as highly desirable enclaves for luxury buyers seeking charm, privacy, and waterfront lifestyle without the intensity of Palm Beach’s price tags.

 

Ocean Ridge, nestled between the Intracoastal and the Atlantic, offers lush, low-density coastal living that feels worlds away from the bustle—yet it’s minutes to Delray Beach and Palm Beach. Likewise, Hypoluxo Island, with its mix of classic estates and newer builds, has seen strong appreciation driven by demand for water access and proximity to both Manalapan and Palm Beach.

 

In both towns, inventory remains low and demand remains high, particularly for properties offering deep-water dockage and walkability to the beach.
